A New Duration Field, Improved Date-Time Calculator – See What’s New in Formplus

Improvements have come to some of your favourite form fields in Formplus – Date and Time field, as well as the Radio choice field.  We have also introduced a new field – the Duration field and like us, we are sure you would be excited.

These improvements are going to make creating timesheets, order forms, registration forms, booking forms, and reservation forms a lot easier to do and even easier for respondents to fill.

Here’s what to look out for:

Improvements to the Date-Time Field

If you use online forms to schedule appointments, handle reservations, deal with registrations among other things, then you would be excited about the improvements to the date-time field.

The Formplus date-time field is now so dynamic that it can be used as an advanced date-time duration calculator. You can create forms that accept only certain dates, calculate days between dates, work out available times on schedule, and so much more. Learn more here.

Introducing the Duration Field

To automatically compute complex dates or time, for example, adding or subtracting days from a particular date, you can use the new duration field as a calculation unit.

Default Values For Input Fields

You can now add default answers to your form fields. Once you set a default value, it is displayed on the form and if your respondents do not leave an answer, the default value is submitted as a response to that question. Learn more.

Others Option now in Radio Fields

Want to give your respondents room to express themselves better on your forms? With the Radio field, you can now add an ‘Others’ option so respondents can type in their answers if it’s unavailable in the listed options.
